Anthony Wong Chau-Sang (黃秋生) (born September 2, 1961) is a Hong Kong actor.

Born to a British father and Chinese mother, Anthony Wong has been a veteran of Cinema_of_Hong_Kong|Hong Kong films for nearly 20 years. Wong is a talented and versatile actor who has played a variety of roles, yet it is his villain roles for which many fans in the West will remember him best. With psychotic roles in films such as Hard Boiled, The Heroic Trio and its sequel, as well as his Golden Horse-winning performance in the horrific The Untold Story (in which he played a real-life serial killer who made Baozi|pork buns out of his victims) Anthony shot to superstardom.

In 1994, he made another breakthrough performance in the action drama Rock n' Roll Cop. He also appeared in two of the Young and Dangerous series of films as Dai Fei, friend to Ekin Cheng's Ho Nam. In 1995, Anthony made his directorial debut in The New Tenant. With more than 100 films in his credit, it's surprising that Anthony doesn't really get to show his martial arts skills: he is skilled in monkey style kung fu. Anthony continues success in supporting roles in films like Infernal Affairs and The Medallion. Anthony reprised his Hong Kong Film Award winning role of Superintendent Wong in the prequel Infernal Affairs II. Aside from acting, Anthony is the lead singer of a local Hong Kong punk rock band.
