Cecilia Cheung (張???芝, born May 24, 1980) is an Asian star. She is a Hong Kong Han Chinese|Chinese actress and singer. She is affectionately known for her husky sultry speaking voice. Born in Hong Kong, her family emigrated to Australia before the Hong Kong handover. She was thus educated in Australia, Cecilia speaks Cantonese (linguistics)|Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese|Mandarin, and English language|English with an Australian English|Aussie accent. She started her career with appearances in television commercials. Cecilia made her film debut in Stephen Chow's 1999 "Hei kek ji wong|The King of Comedy". After her first movie, Cecelia launched her singing career with her first album in July 1999.
