This station is part of Shanghai Metro/Line|2, named after the park it is situated next to. This park is the biggest park in Shanghai. It features a concert stage and visitors can hire tandems or cycling-cars to travel through the park. Another big park in the city, Gongqing Forest Park, is in Yangpu District in the north of the city. But since this park has not metro connection it is currently only accessible by taxi or bus. This makes the latter somewhat less busy.
