Chinese scholar's rocks are small shaped or naturally-occurring rock (geology)|rocks appreciated by Song dynasty, or later, Chinese scholars.
The finest examples were from the Ming dynasty. They influenced the development of Korean stone art and Confucian idealism; and were an important part of Confucian art.
