The Court of First Instance is one of two courts in the High Court of Hong Kong|High Court structure in Hong Kong. The court has unlimited jurisdiction in both civil and criminal matters.

The court can deal with matters from:

  • Magistrates' Courts

  • Small Claims Tribunal

  • Obscene Articles Tribunal

  • Labour Tribunal

  • Minor Employment Claims Adjudication Board
