The Dongxiang people (Chinese: 东乡族; pinyin: Dōngxiāngz?) are an ethnic group closely related to the Mongols|Mongolians. They form one of the List of Chinese ethnic groups|56 ethnic groups officially recognized by the People's Republic of China.

Most of the Dongxiang live in the Linxia Hui (临夏回族 : L?nxi? Hu?z?) Autonomous Prefecture, and surrounding areas, of Gansu Province in northwestern China. Their language, also referred to as Dongxiang language|Dongxiang, is one of the Mongolian_languages|Mongolian Altaic languages. According to the 1990 census, their population numbers 373,872.
