The Guomao (国贸) area in Beijing is close to Dabeiyao and also close to the China World Trade Centre. "Guomao" stands for Guoji Maoyi Zhongxin, which, in English, would equate to International Trade Centre. The more well-known World Trade Centre (as in China World Trade Centre) is often more accepted. Guomao (or the "International Trade Centre", as per the Beijing subway announcements) is also the name of a Beijing subway Line 1 (Beijing Subway)|Line 1 stop. Additionally, Guomao is also the name of a ring road overpass on the 3rd Ring Road. Guomao Bridge (which carries the ring road) runs above Dabeiyao Bridge and connects to the latter, which carries Jianguo Road. Guomao is in the vicinity of the Beijing CBD.
