- Hanyang is also a former name of Seoul, South Korea.
Hanyang (zh-stp|s=汉阳|t=漢陽|p=H?ny?ng) is one of the three towns, together with Wuchang and Hankou, which are included in modern day Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei province, in China. Along with the other two sister towns, it stands at the mouth of the Han River (Hanshui)|Han River, where it merges with the Yangtze River|Yangtze.
