The plot revolves around Bore Lee, martial arts expert from Sinj who comes to Zagreb to study yoga only to find trouble. The film was directed in October 2003 by Mario Kova??, Kre??imir Pauk and Ivan Ramljak. The shooting was completed during the course of one weekend and the entire budget was below 500 HRK. Despite that, the film featured some prominent Croatian celebrities, as well as plenty of pop culture references and healthy humour. As a result, it soon became one of the most popular films in recent Croatian history. Its DVD edition features the very first audio commentary in Croatian language, provided by three of its directors. In 2005 a sequel Bore Lee: Deadly Sinjs! was made.
