Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) is one of China's Big four|big four state owned commercial banks, along with the Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China and China Construction Bank. It was founded on January 1, 1984. As of end-2003, it had assets of Renminbi|RMB 5,279 billion, 24,129 outlets including 70 overseas branches.
The bank's Hong Kong operations are listed under the name ICBC Asia.
