Jinzhou (zh-stp|s=锦州|t=錦州|p=Jǐnzhōu) is a prefecture-level city and a large coastal industrial centre in southwestern Liaoning Province, China, in the northern shore of Bohai Sea. It was once a strategic military city in the Liaoxi Passage (遼西走廊). Jinzhou's jurisdiction is 10,301 square kilometre|km?, 440 km? is rural. Its coastline is 97.7 km. Population: 3,000,000 - 770,000 of which are urban. Jinzhou has eight immediate sub-municipal divisions:
