Kwai Chung is an area in the New Territories of Hong Kong. Together with Tsing Yi island, it is part of the Kwai Tsing districts of Hong Kong|district of Hong Kong. Kwai Chung is the site of the Port of Hong Kong|Container Port. It is also part of Tsuen Wan New Town. Population (2000): 287,000. Area: 9.93 km²
