Lam Woon-kwong, usually known as WK Lam, was from July 1, 2002 to January 6, 2005, Director of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong|Chief Executive's Office of the Hong Kong|Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He had served as Director of the Department of Education, Secretary for the Civil Service and Secretary for Home Affairs before serving as Director of the Chief Executive's Office.

Issue 493 of Sudden Weekly (dated January 7, 2005 but delivered to newsstands on the night of January 6) carried a story that included photographs of Lam Woon-kwong with a woman outside a hotel in Tokyo and an interview with his wife of nearly 30 years. Lam resigned on the same evening, citing "in view of the media report on my private affairs, I tendered my resignation to the chief executive today".
