The Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Greece, better known by its acronym M-L KKE (Greek language|Greek: Μ - Λ Κομμουνιστικό Κόμμα Ελλάδας, Marxistiko - Leninistiko Kommunistiko Komma Elladas), is a communist maoist party in Greece. M-L KKE, as other two greek political parties Communist Organization of Greece and Communist Party of Greece (Marxist-Leninist), originates in the Organisation of Marxists-Leninists of Greece that split away from the Communist Party of Greece in 1964 supporting the Mao Zedong Thought. It publishes the "Laikos Dromos" (Greek: Λαϊκός Δρόμος) biweekly newspaper. Its logo is made of the letters M-L KKE over a hammer and sickle. In the legislative elections of 2000 M-L KKE and Communist Organization of Greece participated together gathering 5,866 votes. In the legislative elections of 2004 M-L KKE particated alone gathering 4,846 votes.
