Matt Pearce (born 1975) is a democracy activist in Hong Kong and a member of the International Action. He is also a English teacher in Hong Kong. He is known as the "Hong Kong Spiderman". Learnt from Emily Davison, he tried to disturb the horse races in 2004. On June 3, 2005, he climbed to the top of a building in Central District and unfurled a banner that said "Justice must prevail for Tiananmen victims". He was arrested on September 30, 2005 and was charged for "causing a public nuisance".
