The moon guitar, also called la ch'in, laqin, yueh-ch'in or yueqin (Pinyin from Chinese language|Chinese ??????), is a traditional Chinese musical instruments|traditional Chinese musical instrument. It is a flat four-string (music)|stringed lute with a large round body, hence the name moon guitar. According to legend, it was invented in China during the Qin dynasty|Qin dynasty.
