The islands are notable for interesting rock formations, and open air seafood restaurants. One of the islands has a haunted house, and some rock carvings supposed to be the epitaph of an emperor who died on or near Po Toi. Po Toi Islands include:
The islands are accessible mostly by private ferry or water taxi. Some scheduled ferries connect Po Toi island with Aberdeen Harbor, Hong Kong|Aberdeen Harbour, Stanley, North Point and Kwun Tong.
