Sammo Hung (zh-cp|c=洪金寶|p=H?ng Jīnbǎo; Cantonese language|Cantonese: Hung4 Gam1 Bou2) (born January 7, 1952) is a Kung Fu Martial arts film|movies actor and film director|director.
He was born in Hong Kong. He was one of the Seven Little Fortunes Chinese opera troupe as a youth, along with Jackie Chan. He choreographed fights for Bruce Lee, King Hu and John Woo.
In the late 90s, Hung starred in an American Television program|television series by CBS called Martial Law (TV)|Martial Law (1998–2000), with Arsenio Hall as his costar. Reportedly he recited his English language|English dialogue by rote.
Hung is one of the celebrities honoured on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars.
