1 Introduction
Shanghai Zhongshan Park

Shanghai Zhongshan Park was founded in 1914. Before then it was a private garden owned by a United Kingdom|British Real Estate participator. The Park was originally named Zhaofeng Park, and is renamed in honour of Dr. Sun Zhongshan at 1944. It sits in the center of the Changning District, in the city of Shanghai, and has a large collection of trees and flowers.

A nearby metro station is named after it. This station is the current western terminus of Shanghai Metro/Line|3 and a station on Shanghai Metro/Line|3. When Shanghai Metro/Line|4 is put into use this metro will also stop here. Currently there is ongoing construction to extend Shanghai Metro/Line|2 further westwards extending the line to the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport|Hongqiao airport.
