Shenzhou 8 (Chinese language|Chinese: ????????????) will be an unmanned flight of the People's Republic of China's Shenzhou spacecraft. It was originally planned to be the People's Republic of China's fourth human spaceflight, however news reports in November 2005 state that it will now be an unmanned mission. The aim of the mission is to leave the orbital module in orbit so it can dock with the unmanned Shenzhou 9 mission. Shenzhou 10 would be a manned flight to dock with Shenzhou 8 and 9. http://edition.cnn.com/2005/TECH/space/11/03/space.china.reut/ Shenzhous 8, 9, and 10, will launch only months apart. The Chief Designer of the Shenzhou spacecraft has said that by Shenzhou 8 the basic design of the spacecraft should have been fixed after the 7 previous flight.
