Six dynasties

Six Dynasties (六朝) is a collective noun for the six Chinese dynasties, namely the Three Kingdoms|Kingdom of Wu, Jin Dynasty (265-420)|Eastern Jin Dynasty, Song Dynasty (420-479)|Song Dynasty, Southern Dynasties|Qi Dynasty, Southern Dynasties|Liang Dynasty and Southern Dynasties|Chen Dynasty. They were founded south of Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) with their national capitals all located at Jiankang.
