Zhai Zhenhua (翟振华) is a China|Chinese-Canada|Canadian author. Born in China in 1951, she joined the Red Guards (China)|Red Guards at the age of 15. She later moved to Canada, where she wrote a book detailing her experiences, titled Red Flower of China.
Although she writes that she "loves Canada" because it is a "free country", she also writes that she views China with ambivalence because of her experiences as a Red Guard. After moving to Canada, she earned a PhD in mechanical engineering from McGill University. She later divorced her husband Shu Zeng to marry Charles B. Daniels, a university professor.
