ICAO airport code ZHCC, IATA airport code CGO. Xinzheng airport is located 37km to the southeast of Zhengzhou city. It was opened in August 28, 1997, the 21st international airport in mainland China. It was built to replace the Zhengzhou Dongjiao Airport|Dongjiao airport, which lies in the immediate vicinity of downtown Zhengzhou. Domestic flights operated in the airport to most of the major cities in mainland China, and scheduled flights to Hong Kong. There's also charter flights to Thailand in travel seasons. airport-stub
