The Asians in America Project (AIA), its mission is "Knowledge is Power, Knowledge is Pride." This statement is the founding principle behind the Asians in America Project (AIA). Their sole purpose is to be a central source of information for all things of interest to people of Asian Pacific descent living in the United States.
AIA was first concieved in 1999, it was to be nothing more than an online directory of Asian Pacific American (APA) organizations. Their goal is to become the most comprehensive source information on Asian Pacific America. They provide previously published and original content useful to community leaders, researchers, writers, journalists, educators, policy makers, students, or anyone with any interest in the APA community.
