Jason Scott Lee (李截,pinyin: Lǐ Ji?, b. November 19, 1966) is an Asian American movie actor. He was born in Los Angeles, CA, but was raised in Hawaii. As a third-generation Chinese-American, he is three-quarters Chinese American and one-quarter Native Hawaiians|Hawaiian. In the mid-1990s, he had a few leading male roles in feature films, probably the best known in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. Since that time, he has not broken
into the ranks of major stardom, but continues to receive supporting roles.

As a non-white actor he has been called upon to portray various races. He played an Inuit in Map of the Human Heart, a China|Chinese character in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story|Dragon, a Polynesian in Rapa Nui and an (Asian) Indian in The Jungle Book (1994 movie)|The Jungle Book.
